Captain Opportunity on board a 20m Private M/Y cruising the N/E coast of Australia

Start Date: September 2019

Location: Gold Coast, Australia

Salary: DOE , paid in AUD

 

NOTE: All applicants must have the legal rights to work in Australia

 

This is a live ashore position when not cruising, so residents of the Gold Coast or it’s surrounding areas are strongly preferred.

Experience and Attributes Required:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience on board Yachts of a similar size as Captain

Must be a “Hands on” Captain

Excellent knowledge of maintenance, engineering and technical troubleshooting

Excellent personal presentation

Must be highly organised with time management skills

Experience and knowledge of Sports fishing is preferred

Dynamic, Enthusiastic and Professional, are key elements we are looking for

 

Qualifications Required:

AMSA Master 5, plus MED2 required as a minimum

GMDSS

Medical Care (Preferred)

STCW (all up-dated)

Seafarer’s Medical (Min 6 months validity)

 

Non Smokers only and with no visible tattoos
