Water Sports Deckhand/Tender Captain- 28m Whitsundays + Sydney

Are you an all-round water sports guru who has good tender driving skills?

A high-profile private yacht is on the search for an experienced water sports deckhand/ tender captain to join their team

The yacht is couple friendly and would also consider candidates partnered with an experienced stew/cook

The yacht will head up the East Coast in the next 2-3 weeks for the Whitsundays season where the yacht will play host to a variety of guests

The yacht is used privately only with family and friends, maximum 9 guest capacity overnight.

The vessel will undertake a mixture of overnight and day cruises, with a fun, relaxed water sports focus

The family are big into their diving and fishing so experience in this area would be highly desirable

After the Whitsundays the yacht will head to Sydney for the summer season

The yacht also operates a 35’ chase tender that the deckhand will be in charge of running

The Ideal Candidate

• Deckhand experience on Superyachts
• Ideally with Coxswains or power boat level 2, or recreational licence with good experience
• Some fishing experience, can rig lines, maintain gear ect
• Dive tickets would be a plus, to setup gear and potentially buddy up with guests
• Can maintain the exterior of the yacht to a high standard
• Very confident in the water
• Very good boat handling skills
• Easy going but professional approach
• Work rights for Australia

Start Date- As soon as candidate is found

Salary- $55,000 AUD + Super
