A 120’ expedition style motor yacht is on the search for a new first officer to join their active team
The yacht maintains a permanent berth out of Port Douglas and would suit a first officer keen for a work life balance in Australia
Trips are mostly around the Tropical North QLD & GBR area with a few trips/ year planned for the South Pacific / Asia regions, including PNG and Solomon Islands
The yacht maintains a relaxed, friendly but professional team environment onboard, operating a permanent crew of 6
The owners are quite big into their diving and fishing and candidates with these interests will be highly considered

Ideal Candidate

• Yachtmaster Ocean (minumum) OOW/Chief Mate (Prefered)
• STCW & ENG 1
• Mini ISM experience
• Experience managing a small team
• Looking for a yacht with a home base (can live on or off the yacht)
• Very hands-on
• Can adopt a small yacht, lend a hand approach
• Full work rights for Australia
• Some diving & fishing experience

Start- Flexible

Salary- Depending on experience
