Bosun/2nd Engineer- 56m Private Yacht – Gold Coast Based

Calling all Bosuns who are looking to be based out of the Gold Coast.
An exciting opportunity has arisen on a recently refitted 56m private yacht that is based out of the Gold Coast
The yacht will be used for private use only and will mostly look to cruise the east coast of Australia for very short periods before returning to its Gold Coast base
This is a rare opportunity for experienced Bosun/ 2nd engineer who has full work rights for Australia and who are looking to continue their yachting career closer to home.

The ideal candidate

• 2-3 seasons experience on deck
• STCW + Seafarer medical
• Can assist in the engineer when required, looking to learn
• Excellent support skills on both deck and in the engine room
• Can manage a small team, taking full leadership/ ownership of entire deck function
• Able to assist across departments when required
• Full work rights for Australia

Candidates local to the Gold Coast/Brisbane region will be highly considered (interview purposes)

While the Bosun/ 2nd Engineer must have full work rights for Australia the positions will be paid in US dollars

Start Dates- ASAP

Salary- $4000 US / Month
