2nd Officer/Divemaster

A 2ND OFFICER/ DIVEMASTER – 60M EXPEDITION M/Y
AUSTRALIA – INDIAN OCEAN – ASIA – SOUTH PACIFIC

YACHT INFORMATION:

• Must be a team player with the following attributes:
• Australian resident/citizen or NZ passport holder. Allowed to work in Australia
• OOW COC (Working towards Chief Mate or Chief Mate already)
• Skilled tender driver, watersports experience preferred
• Experienced exterior maintenance skills. Hands on, good background in outboards (Yamaha) & inboard diesels (Yanmar)
• Hands on to work closely with the Chief Officer and manage the deck team (1 lead + 2 deckhands)
• Should have an understanding of ISM/ISPS
• Busy & interesting itinerary. Will travel to remote locations. Must be comfortable with this
• Good longevity and references
• Would suit recently qualified OOW with a passion for their work and love of the ocean and looking to gain sea time and drive time.
• Divemaster who will own the maintenance and up keep of diving gear aboard. Look after owner and guests underwater.
• Ideally you would love to spend your spare time scuba diving, fishing, surfing, kitesurfing, wakeboarding, spear fishing or playing golf

ITINERARY:

PERTH, AUSTRALIA (Home port) – INDIAN OCEAN – ASIA – SOUTH PACIFIC

QUALIFICATIONS: OOW COC, STCW10 + ENG1

START DATE: ASAP

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time contract. 6 weeks holidays.

SALARY: DOE $AUD. Australian work conditions.
