Head Housekeeper - Hands-on, UHNW residence, London

Delightful family of 5 are seeking an experienced and energetic daily, hands-on Head Housekeeper or an experienced housekeeper capable and ready to undertake additional senior duties.

This is a hands-on housekeeping role, reporting to and assisting the House Manager (recently placed by us). A second housekeeper is in place who works afternoons Mon – Fri. In addition to the housekeeping, you must be able to step up to assist the House Manager as needed and to cover for her when she is away from the property – e.g. at meetings, at another location or when she is on holiday.

We are looking for candidates with top 5* standards and previous experience within UHNW residences or private yachts. The immediate target of the role is to work with the House Manager to implement and raise the housekeeping standards to top levels and thereafter to maintain these standards.

This is a friendly, very large, busy family and home in Holland Park, London; 2 adults and 3 young children. In addition to the House Manager and afternoon HK, a Nanny, Chauffeur and Security/CPO are employed. Although a Mon-Fri position, some flexibility for an occasional Saturday (9am- 5pm) would be strongly preferred, but not essential.  The family do travel regularly, but no travel is required for this role.

Main Requirements:

• Excellent housekeeper, detail oriented, high standards
• Previous experience in UHNW residences or private yachts essential
• Good team player, enjoy working within a small, supportive team
• Cheerful, kind and friendly personality
• Good English essential
• Currently in London/UK and legal to work here
• Excellent checkable references

Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm.
Some flexibility for the occasional Saturday
Salary £40,900-£44,700 per annum (£600-£650 npw)
