About the Yacht

It is a beautiful modern motor yacht of 25 meters, refitted in 2017. 

The flag is Malta, the boat is based in Saint Raphaël, South of France. 

The project 

The boat is private and it belongs to a Dutch family with two children. They use the boat 3 or 4 months during the year, to cruise around the Mediterranean Sea, Corsica, Sardinia. 

The boat is looking for a deck/stew ready to start working as of February 1st, 2019. 

This is a permanent position. 

There is one crew member on the boat as the owners are the Captain. They hire a Captain during the Summer season. 

Desired profile 

They are looking for someone who is living nearby Saint Raphaël, maximum 20 km from the port.

The candidate must have a valid ENG 1 or medical certificate and a valid STCW. 

POWER BOAT LEVEL II is MANDATory. You will be in charge of driving the tender and the jet-ski. 

Deckhand knowledge is MANDATORY as well as Yachting Experience. You will be in charge of the boat when the owners are not on board. You do  not have to sleep on board if you do no want too but you must live close to the port. 

Fluency is English is compulsory. 

You will have your own cabin.  

NON SMOKER candidates ONLY. 

NO TATOOS. 

Salary : 3000 euros per month 

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, French

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
