DmB Yachting Group is currently recruiting an experienced First Mate to join a fantastic 43m private motor yacht. The yacht operates at a very high standard with the emphasis being on excellent service, high performance and teamwork. Currently in the Caribbean and has some exciting cruising plans for 2019.

The Role:

You will form an integral part of the 4-person deck team, we're looking for someone who is self-motivated, great with guests, professional and a true team player.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

  • Mini. Yachtmaster Offshore
  • OOW Modules/CoC preferred
  • 3-5 years industry experience on yachts
  • B1B2 Visa with at least one year remaining preferred
  • Supporting paperwork can be provided to obtain B1B2 for the right candidate
  • STCW (STCW 2010) refreshed / in date
  • ENG 1 (Medical - NO Limitation/Restrictions)
  • Competent with ISM/ISPS procedures and practises
  • Good understanding/abilities with deck maintenance (paint and varnish repairs)
  • Strong tender driving experience
  • Knowledge of fishing a plus
  • Knowledge of free diving a plus
  • Knowledge of Scuba diving (change bottles, kitting up etc)

State date is mid to end of January 2019,
Interviews start immediately.
