DmB Yachting group is currently recruiting an experienced 2nd engineer for a highly engineered & beautiful 60m private motor yacht. The yacht operates at a very high standard and the emphasis is on everything running smoothly, high performance and teamwork. The yacht is currently in the US, last season they cruised Galapagos, Costa Rica, Mexico to name a few locations and this year itinerary is set to be just as impressive with plenty of sea time and watch time in the ECR.

The role

The successful candidate will be working closely with a great Chief Engineer who has excellent longevity onboard and a keen willingness to teach.

The 2nd engineer in addition to the mandatory qualifications will have excellent knowledge of all aspects of engineering and hotel services.
You will form an integral part of the engineering team.

The ideal candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will have;

• Longevity in mind
• Previous yachting experience
• Worked on similar size yachts
• Male - due to cabin arrangements
• Excellent references
• Proven longevity
• Good AV/IT Skills
• Experience on tenders (outboard, jetskis)
• Excellent hotel services knowledge/experience
• B1B2 (mandatory, unless US Citizen)
• Y4 Chief Engineer minimum
• CAT Course

The package

• ROTATION, 10 weeks on, 10 weeks off
• Salary is $5,000 p/m (DOE)
• Bonus programme in place (discuss during interview stages)
• Crew training (paid) programme in place
• Incredible cruising itinerary
• Full medical cover
• Sea time / ECR watches
