This is a career role for a suitably experienced Superyacht Electronic Technical Officer. You MUST have experience on Superyachts and the appropriate qualifications for this 100-m new build, which is currently in the yard and due for launch in early 2019.

You will need to have a good knowledge of ship’s electrical systems, automation and control systems, as well as strong in AV/IT knowledge. You will be a part of the Technical team onboard and there is a great deal of direct interaction and contact with heads of departments, crew and with the guests as well, therefore strong social skills and an interactive personality would be well suited to this position.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications and Experience:

  • ETO CoC Regulation III/6
  • 3+ years’ experience on large 70-m+ Motoryachts (New Build experience a definite advantage)
  • Advanced Electrical Engineering education
  • AV/IT automation + VSAT systems
  • High Voltage Certificate (Management level)
  • Ships Security Systems
  • International Passport, Seafarer Discharge Book
  • ENG1 Seafarer medical fitness certificate
  • STCW Basic safety training with Security Awareness or Designated Security Duties certificate
  • Passenger Safety certificate.
  • Excellent communication skills – fluency in English
  • Fit, healthy and personally well-presented non-smoker, no visible tattoos
  • Good work ethic - Team player

Start Date: October (ASAP) 2018

Salary: Euro TBC per month | Rotation available after launch date

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
