Deckhand 48m Private MY- Tahiti, Fiji, OZ, Vanuatu, PNG

Are you an experienced deckhand ready for an immediate start?

Are you looking for an adventurous vessel cruising the South Pacific?

A high end, private 48m MY is on the search for an experienced deckhand to join their crew of 9.

The vessel is currently cruising Tahiti and will soon be departing for Fiji around the 8th September (weather dependent)

The successful deckhand must be ready to join before departure to Fiji and will receive a good induction underway.

The yacht has an owners trip in October in Fiji before heading to Australia shortly after.

The vessel will cruise Australian waters until early next year before heading to Vanuatu, Solomon Islands and PNG for most of 2019

There is a good water sports focus on this role and the ideal candidate will have some dive experience/tickets (but not essential)

The vessel also operates a small chase tender and the successful candidate will also gain some good wheel time

The Ideal Candidate

• Available to join before the 8th September
• STCW, ENG 1
• Deckhand experience on vessels of similar size
• Some small vessel drive time
• Very confident in the water
• Some dive experience/tickets preferable
• Power Boat Level 2, Equivalent or higher  
• Male only (due to cabin arrangements)

Start Date- ASAP

Salary- $3000-$3500 US DOE + Medical + MLC holiday allowance
