House/Estate Management couple for Northern Beaches of Sydney (MPNT)

We are looking for an experienced couple to manage and maintain a gorgeous home in Sydney’s Northern Beaches (Australia). This position suits a couple. Perhaps this role suits a couple from the Superyacht industry with the right kind of experience and looking for a change!

The role is Live-in and accommodation is provided in a separate residence designed for a couple to share – not two singles.
You will be expected to perform a wide array of tasks, working closely together to ensure the smooth running of the home. One half of the team will run the estate including grounds and garden. The other will take care of house management and housekeeping. Your entertaining and cooking skills will be put to good use for the Principals from time to time.

• General Housekeeping duties
• Laundry, ironing and valet services
• Cooking to a high standard
• Table settings, floral arrangements and service
• Chauffeuring (access to car provided)
• Household accounts and budgets
• Pool and grounds maintenance
• Maintain registers for keys, contractors, maintenance, insurance and waste management…
• Organisation of tradesmen as required
• Security
• Maintaining OHS: safety checks and risk management
• Other tasks as necessary: shopping, errands,
• Holding Police checks and First Aid certificates, Australian Drivers licence

The ideal candidates will:

• Have similar experience to that described in this job post and successful history of working together
• Have extensive service and housekeeping skills
• Have expertise in gardening and maintenance experience
• Be amenable to the fact that these are live-in roles that require the positions to be available to work on weekends and on call as required, including after hours. 
• Thrive when given an array of tasks
• Have excellent organisation and time management skills
• Be able to exercise discretion and confidentiality
• High level of attention to detail.
• Adaptable and flexible to changing needs on short notice
• Be polite, well-mannered and gracious with people
• Professional appearance and demeanour
• Preference will be given to those already located in Sydney.

Start Date: As soon as you are found

Hours: This is a full-time, live-in position, mostly Monday to Friday but occasional weekend work will be expected from time to time so flexibility is required.

Salary: A generous package will be on offer that is dependent upon your experience. You will need to have permission to work in Australia (ie residency or long-term work permit) and normal Australian working conditions apply
