Relief Mate 40m+ SY-Pacific- Couple Friendly

A 40m+ SY is currently on the search for some relief crew for September & October. (and onwards)

The yacht is currently sailing the South Pacific with sights on Europe (heading westward) via Cape Town.

The relief positions on board include

Captain: $9,000 - $11,000 US / month  (MCA 500GT or 3000 GT or equivalent)

Mate: $6,000 - $7,000 US / month (Yachtmaster for the 40m+ or Chief Mate for new build)

Cook/Chef: $4,000- $5,500 US / month

The captain is very much involved with an 80m+ New Build SY and will need ongoing relief (almost on a fulltime basis)

The positions also have potential to go permanent and are taking expressions of interest for the various positions onboard the new build, including chief officer, chief stewardess, 2nd enginer/ETO & Chef

The yacht is also couple friendly and would consider teams looking to fill the various combinations.

The yacht is private and is sailed with a permanent crew of 6, that swells to 7 for medium to longer length passages. The passage captain might sail as the seventh when the owner and fulltime captain is on board or be accommodated ashore – depending on guest numbers, crew leave,… etc.

Service for the guests on board is professional, but low key. No silver-service, no flowers, etc … Usually short cruises (3-4 days), with the occasional longer ocean passage

Please note – this is a non-smoking vessel requiring non-smoking crew (from the owner). Non-smoking includes tenders, passarelles, near-by ashore, …. Non-smoking is a requirement in the Standing Orders.
