Experienced Senior Nurse/Stewardess position available for New Build 100m+ Private M/Y

Exciting opportunity to be part of the set up team on board a fantastic new build!

Start date: January 2019

​Package: Salary paid in Euros per month with 30 days leave prior to yacht delivery (based on 5 day work week) and then 122 days leave once operational. Share shore based accommodation during build.

Experience and attributes required:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as Nurse on board Passenger/Cruise/Super Yachts
  • A&E or Paramedic Experience preferable or must be very experienced Medical Officer/First Aider
  • Intensive Care Unit experience
  • Report writing and computer skills essential
  • Housekeeping experience to assist in the Interior Department
  • Inventory of Medical equipment and medications
  • Excellent presentation
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English

Qualifications required:

  • Registered Nurse Degree/Licence (mandatory)
  • Seafarer's discharge book (mandatory)
  • Seafarer's medical certficate (valid min 6 months)
  • STCW fully updated
  • Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (mandatory)
  • Crisis and Crowd Management Certificate (mandatory)
  • Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 (mandatory)
  • Vaccination card with HEP B & Yellow Fever (mandatory)

Must be able to legally work in Europe until Feb/March 2019

Non smoker/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
