If you are looking for a Chief ETO position offering full rotation this is the job you have been searching for!

This high profile Superyacht is seeking a qualified CETO to take charge of all engine room systems and lead their onboard team. The right candidate will have experience in a similar role either on 100m+ Superyachts or Cruise/Passenger ships and possess the following qualifications and experience:

Qualifications:

  • COC ETO III/6
  • Passenger safety certificates including Crowd and Crisis Management
  • Designated Security Duties Certificate
  • High Voltage certificate
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Valid STCW/2010
  • Valid passport
  • Valid ENG1
  • Valid Seafarer Discharge Book
  • Vaccination card with Yellow Fever and Hep B Vaccines

Experience and Skills:           

  • Previous experience in similar position on 100m+ yachts or passenger ships (cruise ship, ferry)
  • Strong Experience with Diesel Electric Propulsion and High Voltage Power Plants
  • high work ethic, consideration for details, keeping neat and tidy workplaces
  • Proactive to problems and good at finding solutions under pressure
  • Class/Flag surveys experience on passenger ships
  • Senior Officer with team managing capabilities
  • Knowledge of AV/IT Systems, Satellite communications and digital media broadcasts
  • Able to lead electrical projects including writing detailed specs, reviewing quotes, monitoring budget, following-up work execution and final commissioning in an organized, documented and trackable way
  • Working according to the highest safety and security standards (risk assessments, permits to work, work procedures, lockout-tagout, …)
  • Excellent English communication skills in order to report about technical aspects and maintain excellent relationship with working partners (yards, contractors, suppliers, superintendents.

Start date:       ASAP
Salary:             €9.000 per month
Leave:             182 paid leave days per year & 3 economy flights per year

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
