Silver Swan is a rapidly expanding, recruitment agency sourcing hospitality professionals for luxury properties worldwide. We are a fun, social office based in London Bridge looking to recruit our 6th member of staff. We work hard and play harder and we all love what we do.  The successful candidate will understand the industries in which we operate and will ideally have 1-2 years of social media marketing experience.

Social media marketing combines marketing and social media management skills to architect and enhance company social media presences. The role includes interacting with customers, promoting brand focused interactive and engaging content, and expanding opportunities for revenue. You will keep social media channels updated, and seek out new social media avenues and campaigns and ways of connecting with audiences.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and expand company social media presence into new & emerging social media platforms, plus increase presence on existing platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise visits
  • Update WordPress website with new information and job posts when required (no experience of WordPress required)
  • Create and distribute engaging written or graphic content in the form of e-newsletters, web page and blog content, or social media posts
  • Working alongside coworkers to ensure brand consistency in marketing and social media
  • Propose new ideas and concepts for social media content and create dynamic written, graphic, and video content
  • Optimize content following search engine optimization (SEO), and pay-per-click (PPC) campaign
  • Research and monitor activity of company competitors
  • Create content that promotes audience interaction and increases audience presence on company sites
  • Work as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns
  • Analyse and report audience information, demographics, and success of existing social media projects
  • Manage social media communications

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
