2nd Engineer (Y3) required on 60m+ private sail yacht.
This is a full time position.

After 5 years on board they have their 2nd Engineer leaving them in 6 weeks so will need someone soon. They have just completed just finished a world tour itinerary and will probably stay on the East Coast USA for the season and head into a big refit period in April 2019.

They are after someone keen to stay for a long time. Longevity is common on this yacht.
The current Chief has been onboard for 4 years

Salary starts with a 7500USD trial and then goes up to 8000USD/month. Standard contract with 2.5 day/month holiday paid. Shared cabin

Candidate will need to have a strong electrical background. B1/B2 and all documents up to date.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
