HRCrew is looking for a Deckhand to take care of a small fleet of yachts up to 10m including both motor and sailing yachts.

This is a seasonal position

Position to start immediately up to October 1st maybe a little later.

Skills and duties:

  • You must have previous small yacht experience
  • You have to be able to varnish, paint, clean the boat and do general maintenance
  • You will co-ordinate jobs between garages and boats, contractors for repairs etc..
  • Confident tender driver
  • This is an ideal job for someone living in the South of France as there is no availability to live on board the boats
  • French work contract.

Qualifications:

  • Ideally Yacht Master offshore
  • STCW basic training
  • ENG1

Appropriate visa that allows you to work in France

Candidates currently in the South of France are given first consideration.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
