Kitesurfing Instructor/Deck 60m+ Charter Expedition vessel- Pacific

Care to live the dream being paid to kitesurf the Pacific Ocean?

Are you interested in joining an expedition vessel that travels off the beaten track?

Take this once in a life time opportunity to join this expedition/conversion yacht as its kiteboarding instructor.

The successful candidate will manage all equipment, purchases, rig repairs/modifications, setup and packdown, kite size suggestions and of course offering instruction to the guests on board.

There will be plenty of opportunity to kitesurf the various locations in which the yacht travels ‘testing’ rig setup and maintaining skills

The position will also be combined with a deck role and the successful candidate must be ok with the usual deckhand duties of tender driving, wash downs, detailing, lines and bridge watches.

Currently in Central America the yacht will soon depart for French Polynesia.

Travel to the South Pacific Islands always seems to be on the cards with this world traveller.

The crew, owners and guests are very much into adventure and water sports and being very active in this department will hold you in good stead

The Ideal Candidate

• Kitesurfing Instructor qualifications
• All-round ‘waterman/women’
• Sound deckhand skills
• STCW & ENG 1
• Power boat level 2 or higher
• Looking to offer a firm commitment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Very safety conscious
• Good weather/wind forecasting skills
• Work rights for OZ or NZ will be advantageous (but not essential)

Start Date- Before 30th April 2018

Salary - $3500 US / month + Benefits + 13th month Bonus
