ETO for 70-m Private MY in the Middle East (SETM)

This is a career role for a suitably experienced Superyacht Electronic Technical Officer. You MUST have had experience on Superyachts and the appropriate qualifications for this 70-m yacht. You will need to have a good knowledge of ship’s electrical systems, automation and control systems, as well as strong in AV / IT. You will be a part of the Technical team onboard and there is a great deal of direct interaction and contact with heads of departments, crew and with the guests as well, therefore a strong accommodating and interactive personality would be well suited to this position.

The successful candidate will have the following Qualifications and Experience:

• ETO CoC Regulation III/6
• 5+ years’ experience at sea and including similar sized yachts
• High Voltage Certificate (Management level)
• GMDSS, ENEM, HELM Management
• Advanced Electrical Engineering education
• Ships Security Systems
• AV/IT automation + VSAT systems
• International Passport, Seafarer Discharge Book
• ENG1 Seafarer medical fitness certificate
• STCW Basic safety training with Security Awareness or Designated Security Duties certificate
• Passenger Safety certificate.
• Previous experience with Arabic owners and guests would be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills – fluency in English
• Fit, healthy and personally well-presented non-smoker, no visible tattoos
• Good work ethic - Team player

Start Date: April, 2018
Salary: Euro 6.500 per month | 45 days leave per year with one annual return flight
