We are looking for an experienced Lead Deckhand for this new 70m+ M/Y. The Lead Deckhand will be required to keep lookout duties when the Yacht is underway and other duties as ordered by the Master or Chief Mate when the Yacht is not underway.

Suitable candidates will:

  • Have at least 3+ years’ experience in the industry, with experience on large yachts or bosun on smaller
  • Painting, maintenance and tender driving experience
  • Have knowledge of Awlgrip, International and DuPont paint systems and be able to teach others
  • Have excellent small boat handling techniques
  • Have a strong knowledge of deck operations
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English
  • Be well presented, with no visible tattoos

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • STCW Basic Safety Training including Security Awareness
  • Yachtmaster or Yacht rating preferred
  • Valid Seafarers medical certificate
  • Power Boat level II
  • PWC Operator/Instructor

Salary: 3800EURO, 45 days annual leave

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
