We are currently working with a private, 50m M/Y to recruit a bosun to start at the end of January.

The yacht: 50m, single season based in the Med at present. Private usage over summer with lovely UHNWI owners. Great, professional crew in place with good longevity.

The position: Bosun preferably with OOW in hand or very close to completion as will need to step up into the mates' role occasionally. Team of three on deck including bosun and mate. Professionally run vessel.

The person: Must hold their OOW or be close to full completion thereof. Must have several years of experience on deck and be fully confident in all aspects of maintenance and daily deck duties, both on and off trip. Must feel comfortable stepping up into the mate's role when the mate is on leave so knowledge of bridge duties important.

The package: €4000+ DOE, good leave and medical package in place

Start: End of January

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
