Are you looking to join an expedition charter yacht, fishing and diving in remote locations?

A high-end charter yacht is on the search for an experienced chief officer/relief captain to join their program.

The yacht is an expedition vessel built for offshore cruising and will look to venture into the Pacific Islands for charters.

Joining a crew of 6, the chief officer will be responsible for running the decks, managing the toys, dive gear, fishing gear, leading bridge watches, and relieving the captain behind the wheel

Joining in WA for the summer, the vessel will look to cruise the West Coast in the new year with trips planned for the Kimberley’s, West Papua and the Pacific.

The position is live on board however crew have the option of living off the yacht if they have their own accommodation when in port.

The ideal candidate will be an all-round waterman/women with good longevity in previous positions.

Essential Criteria

  • AMSA Master 4 & MED 2 minimum
  • Good fishing and diving experience
  • Experience as a captain or mate on vessels over 35m
  • STCW & Seafarer medical
  • Looking to build up their wheel time
  • Enjoys off the beaten track cruising
  • Full work righst for Australia/ NZ
  • Available to commence before Christmas

Start Date- ASAP

Salary- Negotiable for right candidate $100,000 AUD / year + 6 weeks holiday

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.
