Are you an experienced officer looking to join an off the beaten track cruiser?

Do you enjoy diving, fishing, surfing and kitesurfing?

Joining a crew of 13 the 2nd Officer will be responsible for the complete running of the decks.

Managing a lead deckhand & two junior deckhands the 2nd officer will have excellent experience in leading all deck operations including docking, anchoring, crane operation, tender driving, water sports setup & exterior maintenance.

The yacht is used for both private & charter use with allot of remote offshore cruising.

Would suit candidates looking for some serious sea time and those looking to escaping the usual yacht milk run.

The crew are extremely active and enjoy a variety of water sports in all the various locations of travel.

Ideal Candidate

  • OOW or Chief Mate COC
  • STCW (valid)
  • Valid work visa for Australia or New Zealand (preferable not essential)
  • Relevant dive certificates, Master or higher
  • Solid tender driving skills in all conditions
  • Good understanding of ISM / ISPS
  • The yacht would also consider solid officer and chief stew combo

Start Date: ASAP

Itinerary: Australia, Pacific, Asia (next 3-4 years)

Salary: DOE, paid in US dollars, 45 days leave, 2X flights, medical, dental ect
