Work on this amazing yacht with a phenomenal crew that explores the whole world over!

The Deckhand/Carpenter is responsible to the Chief Officer and Bosun to work within the deck team for the maintenance, operation and presentation of the yacht’s exterior. This position specializes in carpentry skills and we are seeking a crew member with proven longevity to commit to this role.

Key Requirements:

  • MCA Watch Rating Certificate preferred.
  • 2+ years’ experience on yachts.
  • Prior carpentry skills on yachts preferred
  • Shipyard and/or boatbuilding experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of fiberglass and carbon fiber work preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Awlgrip paint systems and care.
  • Experience with jet drive, outboard and inboard propeller driven tenders.
  • Experience of mooring large yachts preferred.
  • Valid STCW Basic Safety Training
  • ENG1 or equivalent Seafarers Medical Certificate
  • US Visa (B1/B2) or able to obtain one

Salary: in line with industry standards according to your experience and qualifications.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
