Part-time Chef needed for a family in Prahran, Melbourne! (PRAH)

We’re looking for an experienced Chef to cook for a busy family in Prahran, on a part time basis. The successful candidate will be experienced in cooking calorie controlled, healthy meals as well as catering for dietary requirements – dairy and gluten free. You will need to cook for the family Monday – Friday. The hours are flexible, so this role may suit someone who has other commitments throughout the week.

General duties will include:

• Preparing and cooking lunch and dinner for the mother and 2 children (5 and 3 years old) and dinners for the father
• Ensuring a variety of fresh and healthy meals
• Complying to food hygiene and safety standards
• Ensuring the workspace is kept clean and tidy at all times

The ideal candidate will:

• Be living in Melbourne
• Be detail oriented
• Be trustworthy and have a positive attitude
• Have or be able to obtain a Working with Children Check and Police Check

Location: The candidate can work from the family home or off site if preferred

Hours: Around 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience

Start: As soon as the right person is found!
