Audio Visual & IT Specialist for High Profile Mega Yacht

WRS Tech specialist seagoing division are working with a specialist mega yacht provider who have an opportunity for Audio Visual & IT Engineer to join a mega yacht.

This is a great opportunity for a AV / IT specialist to move onto a high profile mega yacht operating internationally but you will need to have the following skills and background to be short listed for this role.

Proven background supporting complex AV and IT systems with a particular focus on digital content distribution through IPTV in vessels of 100m and more.

You will hold at least one but Ideally 2 of the following:

MCE (Microsoft)
CCE (Cisco)
CCP (Crestron)
VSAT Operator or Installer

As focal point in this role you will need to have the skills in the following

Ka Band VSAT Internet using Seatel / iDirect technologies
Ka Band Sat TV Reception & Distribution using Seatel / iDirect technologies
Kaleidescape Media Distribution including latest Video / Audio Encoding and distribution standards
Crestron Automation & Control
Lutron Lighting Automation Programming
Structured Cabling Design, Installation & Maintenance
Mac OSX Desktop Administration & Support
MS Windows Server Administration & Support including Exchange, SQL Server, VM Ware, SAN / NAS Technologies
Network Printing using HP technologies
Kaspersky (or equivalent) Anti Virus & Security
Apple iOS / TvOS Systems Deployment and Support
