The role:

  • Overall command, safety and operation of the yacht
  • Lead the yacht through her first season after launch
  • Recruit and manage the crew
  • Handle budgets, maintenance and compliance
  • Work closely with the owner and management

The candidate:

  • Master 3000GT
  • Previous Captain experience on yachts of a similar size
  • New build experience is a strong advantage
  • Strong leader and manager
  • Fluent English, excellent references and complete discretion

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  40-49m or 50-69m
  • Yacht types:  motor

  • Experience length:  min 5 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
