We are seeking a Second Officer to join a 65m+ private motor yacht operating a dual-season programme. The yacht is currently in the Caribbean and is looking for someone to join as soon as possible.

This is a great opportunity for a junior or newly qualified officer of the watch looking to step into an officer position with varied responsibilities, and exposure across both bridge and deck.

The role/program:

  • Second Officer position supporting the safe and efficient operation of the yacht
  • Assisting with bridge duties and day-to-day deck operations
  • Private dual-season Mediterranean/Caribbean programme
  • Healthy, professional crew environment
  • Start date: ASAP

What we're looking for:

  • OOW 3000GT essential; ideally will have one year as an Officer, but open to newly qualified Officers
  • Valid B1/B2 visa essential
  • Videography skills would be a strong advantage but are not essential
  • Positive attitude and willingness to get involved in crew activities
  • Someone who will contribute to a healthy and harmonious crew environment
  • Male candidates only due to cabin arrangements

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
