We are seeking a Deckhand to join a 50m private/charter motor yacht operating a dual-season Mediterranean and Caribbean programme. The position is available on a temporary basis, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent role for the right candidate.

There are three possible contract options, depending on availability and preference.

  • 25th Nov - 15th Dec (owner trip)
  • 25th Nov - 7th Jan (owner trip and charter)
  • 25th Nov - Permanent contract (3:1 rotation)

The role/program:

  • Full Deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance and guest activities
  • Start date: 25th November in the Caribbean
  • Permanent position would operate on a 3:1 rotation
  • Busy Mediterranean charter season planned for summer 2027

What we're looking for:

  • Ideally 1 year of experience, but open to candidates with 6 months' experience
  • Yacht Rating advantageous but not essential
  • Experience with driving a jet tender will be beneficial
  • B1/B2 visa is not required
  • Ideally already based in the Caribbean or United States
  • Adaptable and happy to commit to either the temporary or permanent option

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
