About This role

Rotational 3rd Engineer – Private 100m+ M/Y

Start date: 28 November 2026

Itinerary: Europe, Northern Red Sea

Package: Salary in Euros, 176 days' leave (2:2)

Experience and attributes required:

  • Minimum three years' experience as an engineer on large yachts -80m+ or cruise ships.
  • Practical experience with diesel generators and power management systems, HVAC systems, watermakers and sewage treatment systems, Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), and tender maintenance.
  • Strong practical knowledge of pumps, generators, auxiliary machinery and routine maintenance.
  • Experience with diesel-electric propulsion systems is desirable.
  • Proactive and hands-on, with a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and follows them through to completion.
  • Flexible, willing to assist colleagues and able to adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications required:

  • EOOW unlimited – III/1
  • STCW (fully updated) with PDSD
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
  • Crowd and Crisis management
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
