An exceptional live-in opportunity across private Gold Coast estate, superyacht and international travel. A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced and versatile Nurse / Personal Assistant to join a close-knit private team supporting an elderly gentleman with his healthcare, personal affairs and day-to-day lifestyle. Based primarily at an impressive private residence in Main Beach on the Gold Coast, this is far from a conventional nursing position. The role offers an interesting blend of clinical care, personal assistance and household coordination, with opportunities to travel domestically and internationally, with occasional stays aboard a private superyacht. Working alongside a second Nurse / Personal Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring the client's comfort, wellbeing and daily requirements are seamlessly managed. Our client enjoys an active social and professional life, so the successful candidate will need to be proactive, well organised and confident managing changing priorities. This is a live-in position working on a rotating roster, with 24-hour presence required during rostered shifts, including overnight availability.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care & Nursing Support
• Undertake routine health observations, monitoring and skin assessments.
• Check blood glucose levels and administer prescribed insulin and medications.
• Recognise potential changes in health and escalate clinical concerns when necessary.
• Liaise with family members and healthcare professionals regarding the client's general wellbeing and any health concerns.
• Provide mobility assistance and support general physical wellbeing.
• Undertake wound management and dressing changes when required.
• Arrange medical appointments and coordinate communication with treating healthcare professionals.
• Maintain comprehensive clinical notes, health records and medication documentation.

Private Residence & Household Management
• Ensure the residence is consistently maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
• Carry out routine and detailed housekeeping duties as required.
• Oversee laundry and general household operations.
• Assist with meal service and preparation. A private chef works on site Monday to Friday and prepares meals for the weekend. Weekend duties will primarily involve reheating and serving prepared meals, along with some straightforward breakfast preparation.
• Assist with welcoming visitors and providing a professional standard of guest hospitality.
• Arrange and oversee tradespeople, contractors and ongoing property maintenance.

Personal Assistant & Lifestyle Coordination
• Manage personal schedules, diaries, appointments, emails and correspondence.
• Organise travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, ground transport and transfers, both within Australia and internationally.
• Arrange restaurant bookings, social outings and other personal engagements.
• Provide assistance with everyday technology, including computers, email, television, video conferencing and online meetings.
• Accompany the client to appointments, business meetings, social occasions and events.
• Assist in arranging private gatherings, functions and other special events.
• Provide general administrative and organisational assistance as required.
• Work closely with the other Nurse / Personal Assistant to maintain consistent care, effective communication and appropriate roster coverage.

You will be an experienced and capable healthcare professional who enjoys variety and is equally comfortable providing clinical support, managing personal affairs and assisting with the smooth operation of a private household.

Essential requirements and attributes:
• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid ABN.
