DECKHAND — 70m SAILING YACHT

Immediate start | Spain | Full-time position

Seeking a smart, detail-focused Deckhand to join a 70mm sailing yacht with 10+ crew.

Salary: €3,000–€3,500 per month, depending on experience. Essential qualification: Yacht Rating or Yachtmaster Certificate.

The role

Working within a four-person deck team, you will help maintain the yacht to an exceptional presentation standard. Candidates must be comfortable with thorough detailing, finishing and regular chamois work, keeping the yacht “boat-show ready” whenever guests are onboard.

Confidence handling sailing dinghies and driving tenders is important. A strong work ethic, keen eye for detail and willingness to support a busy crew are essential.

The yacht and itinerary

Cayman Islands flagged, Lloyd’s classed and operating under full ISM, the yacht alternates between private and commercial status, with limited charter activity—typically one or two weeks per year.

The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in five cabins, with typically four to eight guests onboard during owner trips.

Sail to the Caribbean for winter before returning to the Mediterranean for summer 2027.

Accommodation and presentation

Shared cabin. Although mixed-sex cabin arrangements are normally avoided, sharing with a female crewmember may be required; candidates should consider this.

Crew must maintain a clean, tidy and smart appearance. Male crew are required to be clean-shaven.
