Deckhand position - 41m - Motor yacht

Description

We are looking for an experienced Deckhand to join our 40m, private M/Y in South Florida.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of yacht experience, an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification, and be confident operating a Fjord 41 XL chase boat.

Responsibilities include bridge watch, deck maintenance, washdowns, detailing, tender operations, assisting with guests, and general upkeep of the yacht.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Professional and personable with owners and guests

• A clear communicator and strong team player

As with all crew onboard, the deckhand will also assist the interior team with guest service, turndowns, and crew mess duties when required. We have a small interior team of only two, so a willingness to support other departments and contribute wherever needed is important.

We are ultimately looking for a capable, responsible deckhand with Yachtmaster Offshore who can work autonomously, confidently operate the chase boat, communicate well, and be a positive addition to the crew.

B1/B2 visa, ENG, STCW, Yacht Master Offshore

Salary: $4,000-$4,500/month DOE and qualifications

Start: Immediate for the right candidate

45 days leave, plus excellent benefits package.
