1st Mate position - 42m - Motor yacht

Description

42 meter private/charter yacht is looking for a Mate with the minimum of a 200T license.

Must be male due to cabin arrangements.

Start date is no later than November 15th.

They are looking for someone who is ambitious, and a natural leader, but who also understands and respects the chain of command. Someone with solid experience who can see the bigger picture.

Personality is important to me. I want someone friendly, approachable, well-rounded, and who understands the value of the entire crew and working as a team.

Nationality isn't important, as long as they have a strong command of English and can communicate effectively.

Ultimately, I'm looking for someone who brings good energy, takes initiative, and understands that being a good leader is just as much about supporting the team as it is about leading it.

Yacht Master a must.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $7,000 per month

Vessel Operations

We're primarily a Bahamas-based charter yacht. When we're not cruising or chartering in the Bahamas, we're generally in Fort Lauderdale carrying out maintenance, repairs, and other vessel work.
