We are seeking an experienced Captain for a private 29-metre motor yacht based in Monaco, cruising in the Mediterranean.

Fluent French is essential for daily communication with the owners. Basic or elementary French will not meet the requirements of this position. Italian would be an advantage.

The successful candidate should have proven command experience on motor yachts of a comparable size, strong boat-handling skills and a practical approach to yacht maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Navigation, passage planning, manoeuvring and safety.
  • Crew management and coordination.
  • Monitoring and maintaining engines, generators and onboard systems.
  • Organising maintenance work and supervising external contractors.
  • Ensuring the yacht is consistently ready for the owners' use.

We are looking for a reliable, discreet and organised Captain with strong technical skills, good communication and a sense of responsibility.

Applicants should hold relevant certifications and be able to provide professional references, confirm language ability and availability upon request.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on yachts matching the following requirements:

  • Yacht sizes:  24-29m
  • Yacht types:  motor
  • Yacht uses:   private
  • Experience length:  min 10 years

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the French language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:
