Relief Second Engineer — 50+ m motor yacht

Position: Relief Second Engineer

Yacht: 52m Motor Yacht

Start: 15 October 2026, possibly later like 1 November

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks

Salary: €200 per day

Minimum qualification: Y4

Hodgson Marine is seeking a qualified Relief Second Engineer for a 52m motor yacht.

The position starts in France, with the yacht proceeding to the Caribbean around 1 November, followed by onward travel and a return flight to Europe.

Requirements: Y4 Certificate of Competency minimum.

Previous yacht engineering experience.

Available to join 15 October or before 1 November.

Comfortable assisting with all aspects of engine-room operations.

Practical, reliable and able to integrate quickly into an established engineering team.
