100m+ Private Motor Yacht

We are seeking a hands-on 4th Engineer to join a world-cruising 100m+ private motor yacht around the end of November.

Candidates must hold an Engine Room Watch Rating certificate (STCW III/4). Experience in fabrication, fitting or machining will be particularly valued.

Requirements:

  • Seagoing engineering experience; commercial backgrounds welcome
  • Sound electrical knowledge and fault-finding skills
  • Experience with planned maintenance systems, ideally IDEA
  • Valid seafarer medical, STCW, Designated Security Duties and Crowd Management certificates
  • Valid B1/B2 visa
  • A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to assist other departments

Package:

  • $4,500–$5,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience, paid year-round
  • Flexible rotation of approximately 4 months on / 2 months off
  • MLC-compliant employment and crew health insurance
  • Economy flights

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
