3rd Officer 100m

We are seeking a Third Officer to join a 100m private motor yacht operating a dual-season program.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Bosun/OOW, or an Officer from a smaller yacht looking to step up onto a highly advanced, modern vessel. This role would not suit someone who is newly qualified with no previous Officer experience.

The role/program:

• Third Officer position supporting the bridge, safety and deck operations
• Working as part of an experienced bridge team onboard a highly advanced modern vessel
• Watersports-orientated program
• Larger tender driving and PWC operations
• Dual-season program covering the Mediterranean, Caribbean and United States
• Start date: End of November

What we're looking for:

• OOW 3000GT or higher
• Chief Mate 3000GT or close to completing this would be advantageous
• Previous experience as a Bosun while holding an OOW ticket, or Officer experience on smaller yachts
• Previous Officer experience essential; not suitable for a newly qualified OOW with no Officer experience
• Kongsberg ECDIS-specific experience highly advantageous
• Advanced Fire Fighting
• Larger tender driving experience preferred
• PWC Instructor qualification preferred
• Helicopter experience advantageous
• Confident, outgoing personality with a positive attitude
• Active lifestyle; running, cycling or golf would be advantageous

What’s on offer:

• Salary: 5,750 – 6,500 USD DOE
• Leave: 90 days (flexible rotation rather than a strict 3:1 schedule)
