About the yacht

It is a beautiful 45-meter motor yacht registered under a red flag, currently in Italy.

The project

We are seeking an experienced Chief Officer for a permanent position, starting from mid-October. The Chief Officer will be responsible for supporting the Captain with the safe and efficient operation of the yacht, overseeing deck operations, maintenance, and the deck team. The yacht will be cruising through Italy and Greece with the owner from July to mid-August.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Captain with the safe navigation and operation of the yacht.
  • Supervise and coordinate the deck team and daily deck operations.
  • Oversee deck maintenance, cleaning, and exterior upkeep.
  • Ensure all deck equipment, tenders, and toys are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Provide a high standard of service to the owner and guests when required.

Desired profile

  • Fluent French and English is mandatory.
  • Previous experience as a Chief Officer on a similar-sized yacht.
  • Strong knowledge of deck operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.
  • Professional, reliable, hands-on, and well-organized.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
  • Non-smoker.
  • Schengen Visa mandatory.
  • Valid STCW Basic Safety Training and ENG1 Certificate are compulsory.
  • Relevant Chief Officer / Officer of the Watch certification required.

Salary

€5000-6000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, French

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
