About This role

Lead Deckhand – Private – 65m+ Support Vessel

Hill Robinson is excited to present an opportunity for an experienced Lead Deckhand to join a highly desirable 65m+ support vessel. The vessel operates on a busy dual season itinerary and runs a private programme.

Start date: 1st November

Experience and attributes required:
– 2-3 years of yachting experience
– 1+ year as a Lead Deckhand on a similar size vessel
– Proficient tender driver
– Team player with a positive can-do attitude
– Good communication skills and strong work ethic

Qualifications required:
– Seafarer’s Medical Certificate (valid for a minimum of 6 months)
– STCW (fully updated)
– Seaman’s Discharge Book (preferred)
– NAV Watch Rating

Must be willing to undergo extensive background checks and a pre-employment drug test.
Professional appearance/non smoker/no visible tattoos

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
