We are seeking an experienced Deckhand/Divemaster to join a busy private/charter motor yacht. This is primarily a Deckhand role, with diving skills used periodically when required by the owner and guests.

The yacht has just completed a busy Med summer season of back-to-back charters and an owner trip, and will be heading to the Caribbean for the winter season with charters and owners trips already confirmed. This is a fast-paced operation looking for someone experienced across all aspects of the Deck role.

The role:

  • Primarily Deckhand position supporting all exterior operations, maintenance and guest activities
  • Diving duties will be periodic and based around owner and guest requirements
  • Strong involvement in tender operations, including driving a 34ft twin-outboard tender
  • Supporting a busy charter and owner trip program
  • Caribbean crossing planned for the end of October
  • Start date: end of November/beginning of December

What we're looking for:

  • Divemaster qualification essential
  • Minimum 2 years' yachting experience preferred
  • Strong experience across all aspects of the Deck role
  • Confident tender driver with good boat-handling skills
  • Yachtmaster preferred but not essential
  • Experienced, adaptable and comfortable working within a fast-paced programme
  • Valid B1/B2 visa preferred/ideally essential

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
