Deckhand — Permanent | Sunreef 60 Sailing Catamaran

We are looking for a motivated, all-round Deckhand to join the crew of a beautiful Sunreef 60 sailing catamaran, cruising the Mediterranean and Caribbean. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves being hands-on, thrives in a small, close-knit crew, and takes pride in delivering true five-star service to guests.

This is a permanent, long-term position (not seasonal). Start: October, Spain.

Cruising Grounds

• Mediterranean (mid-May – October)
• Caribbean (mid-November – mid-April)
• Possible Atlantic crossings (November/April)

What You'll Do

• Assist the Captain with mooring, anchoring, and general deck operations
• Handle mooring lines, fenders, and sails as needed
• Keep the deck and exterior spotless — washdowns, cleaning, polishing
• Support tender operations and water toys/watersports equipment
• Help with table setting and guest service during meals
• Maintain the yacht's interior and exterior to the highest standard
• Handle fine tableware, glassware, and equipment with care — understanding the standards expected on a private yacht
• Assist with provisioning and stock management
• Maintain safety equipment and take part in safety drills

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of experience as a Deckhand
• Experience on sailing yachts/catamarans required
• Understanding of the difference between charter and private yacht service — private yachts call for extra attention to detail and closer interaction with the owner
• Eager to learn and grow, with a genuine willingness to pitch in wherever needed
• Honest, discreet, and reliable — someone the owner can fully trust
• Flexible and adaptable, while maintaining professional distance with owner and guests
• Good physical fitness and a positive, can-do attitude

Languages

• English — required
• Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian — a plus
