About This Role

Deckhand – 50m+ Private M/Y

Hill Robinson is presenting an opportunity for a Deckhand to join a 50m+ private motor yacht.

Start date: October, 2026

Package: DOE, salary paid in USD, 45 days annual leave

Itinerary: Dual season, Caribbean & Mediterranean

Experience / attributes required:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience
  • Must have started OOW coursework or completed some OOW modules
  • Driven individual seeking progression
  • Strong understanding of deck maintenance
  • Committed to longevity onboard

Qualifications required:

  • STCW (fully updated)
  • ENG1
  • Some OOW modules
  • B1/B2 Visa

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
