First Mate – Private 20m+ MY

Hill Robinson is excited to present an opportunity for a First Mate to join a 20m+ Motor Yacht.

Start date: October, 2026

Package: Salary paid is USD

Itinerary: US East Coast & Bahamas

Experience / attributes required:

  • Offshore bill fishing experience (mandatory)
  • Previous yachting experience (preferable)
  • Proven experience running chase boats and tenders
  • Strong understanding of deck maintenance
  • Inventory management

Qualifications required:

  • STCW (fully updated)
  • ENG1
  • US Passport / Green Card Holder

Only candidates meeting the client's requirements will be progressed.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

All applicants must hold a valid ENG1 certificate to be able to apply for this position.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
