M/Y EMILIA is seeking a full-time First Mate for an active cruising and fishing program. We are looking for someone who enjoys technology, boating, fishing and learning, and wants the opportunity to continually develop their skills and take on greater responsibility.

The position offers significant hands-on experience in:
• Advanced navigation, TimeZero, Garmin electronics, radar and chartplotters
• Passage planning and watchstanding
• Docking, anchoring and vessel handling
• Tender and towing operations
• Safety, emergency preparedness and vessel systems
• Offshore fishing, tackle, rigging and fishing operations

Fishing is a major part of the program
EMILIA travels with a dedicated 33' Grady-White fishing boat. We are equally interested in someone who already has strong fishing knowledge or someone who is enthusiastic and genuinely wants to learn. What matters is the desire to become proficient and actively participate in the fishing program.

Excellent Rotation
20 days off every third month - approximately 80 days of scheduled leave per year.

We are looking for someone who is motivated, responsible, technically curious and eager to learn.

There is significant opportunity to expand your knowledge of navigation, electronics, vessel operations and fishing while becoming an increasingly important part of the EMILIA program.
