About This Role

Deckhand – Private / Charter 40m M/Y

This is a US flagged yacht with great crew on board. Candidates MUST be US Citizen / Green Card holder.

Start Date: ASAP
Location: USA, Bahamas, Caribbean
Package: Paid in USD

Experience and Attributes Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience on board 35m+ yachts
  • Dynamic, energetic and leads by example with positive attitude
  • Excellent deck, maintenance skills
  • Excellent boat handling and navigational skills

Qualifications Required:

  • 100 ton USCG
  • Fully updated STCW including PSA or PDSD
  • Seafarers’ Medical Certificate

Non smoker/no visible tattoos

Only candidates who meet the listed criteria will be considered.

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

Certificates and Qualifications:

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
