Female Travelling Butler – France & Switzerland

We are working with a Female UHNW client to help hire a Travelling Butler to support her across her residences in Monaco, St Tropez, and Switzerland. This is a wonderful opportunity for a highly experienced and adaptable candidate to work closely with the Principal, following her lifestyle and travelling with her as she moves between homes throughout the year.

The Principal has a domestic couple based in Switzerland covering that residence, meaning this role will be primarily based between the South of France and Monaco, with travel to Switzerland and London as required. The household also has a private chef, though the chef is not always present, so the successful candidate should be comfortable preparing simple meals when needed. Candidates with a background in high-end private service or on private yachts, used to multi-tasking across housekeeping, service, and personal assistance, are particularly encouraged to apply.

Candidates already based in Monaco or St Tropez would be advantageous, though this is not essential as accommodation can be provided if required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide discreet, attentive butler service, travelling with the Principal between Monaco, St Tropez, and Switzerland
• Prepare and serve at table, including drinks service when entertaining
• Pack and unpack luggage and manage wardrobe requirements ahead of each move between residences
• Oversee the Principal's wardrobe in Monaco, ensuring seasonal organisation and travel readiness
• Provide light PA support as required
• Run personal errands and undertake personal shopping
• Prepare simple meals when the private chef is not present
• Liaise with household staff across residences to ensure continuity of service
• Develop a detailed understanding of the Principal's preferences, routines, and habit
• Support with entertaining and hosting guests as required
• Maintain each residence to the highest standard, ensuring it is ready for the Principal's arrival
• Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times

Ideal Candidate

• EU passport holder is essential; visa or sponsorship is not provided
• Previous experience as a Butler within a private household, or on a private yacht
• Comfortable and willing to travel extensively between residences
• Excellent table and drinks service skills
• Strong organisational skills, particularly around wardrobe and luggage management
• Able to prepare simple meals to a good standard
• Warm, personable, and professional manner
• Highly discreet, with a genuine understanding of UHNW household life
• Fluent English essential; French would be an advantage
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to relocate between Monaco, St Tropez, and Switzerland as required
• Female, as preferred by the client

Package

• Accommodation provided in St Tropez and Switzerland and even Monaco if required
• All travel expenses covered
• Salary: €6,000 net per month
• 28 days annual leave
