About This role

Shipyard AV Technician 100m+ Private M/Y

Start date: 15th September 2026 – Early February 2027
Location: Europe
Package: Salary in Euros. Leave included in daily rate

Experience and attributes required:

  • 1 year in AV systems maintenance, including TVRO and IPTV and ideally previous cruise or yacht experience in a similar position
  • Familiar with inventory management like AMOS
  • Good problem-solving skills and customer service with experience in refits and detailed documentation
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English both written and oral

Qualifications required (all mandatory):

  • Diploma in Audio-Visual Tech or related field; Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Crestron, Extron) and IT/Networking (e.g., CompTIA, CCNA) desired
  • Up to date STCW
  • Seafarer's Medical Certificate valid for at least 6 months
  • Seaman's Discharge Book

Work Experience Requirements:

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Yacht or a Cruise Ship.

Language Requirements:

Good knowledge of the English language is required.

A valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate is required from all applicants. Please sign up for an STCW course and obtain the certificate if you don't have it yet.
