Temporary Captain – Private/Charter 45m M/Y

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Captain to join a 45m private/charter motor yacht for a temporary contract until the end of September. The yacht operates a busy single-season Mediterranean programme and requires a commercially minded Captain with strong charter experience. There is the possibility of a permanent contract for the right candidate.

Start date: ASAP
Itinerary: Mediterranean – single season
Package: Salary and leave DOE; temporary contract until the end of September, with the possibility of becoming permanent

Experience/Skills required:

• Previous Captain experience on a similar-sized private/charter motor yacht
• Proven experience managing successful charter operations
• Strong yacht-handling, navigation and operational management skills
• Excellent leadership, crew management and guest communication skills
• Commercially aware and confident maintaining the highest standards of guest service
• Hands-on, organised and available to join at short notice

Qualifications required:

• Master 500 GT Certificate of Competency – minimum requirement
• STCW (fully updated) with PSA/PDSD
• Seafarer's Medical Certificate
• GMDSS certification
• Seaman's Discharge Book
